Antonio Conte has told Chelsea fans that Alvaro Morata has plenty of room for improvement at Stamford Bridge following his move to the club in the summer.
The Spanish striker has made a strong start to life in the Premier League since his move to the west London side and it seems he will have no trouble adapting to the rigours of English football.
Morata was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United in the summer transfer window before he ended up at Chelsea after the Red Devils signed Romelu Lukaku.
The 24-year-old will be hoping to help fire Chelsea to the Premier League title for the second successive season this term after their first triumph under Conte last term.
And the Italian manager admits that he has been happy with the way Morata has started life in the Premier League with Chelsea.
Speaking at a news conference at Cobham on Friday, Morata said: “Morata is a really good striker and don’t forget he is very young. He can improve a lot.
“Despite being a young player, he has played with Real Madrid and Juventus. He’s won a lot in his career and he has great international experience. We are happy to have him in our team.
“We are trying to work very hard with him to adapt him to our style of football.
“For me, the striker is very important. He’s a good guy and he wants to improve a lot and become one of the best.”
