According to the reports, Chelsea are ready to make a fresh approach for Juventus defensive star Alex Sandro.
The 26-year-old Brazil international was strongly linked with a move to Stamford Bridge this summer. Juve valued the left-back at around £60m but the Blues refused to pay the asking price.
As a result, South American star stayed in Serie A under Max Allegri.
However, as per the Italian media outlets TransferMarketWeb, Chelsea will renew their interest in Sandro in January.
They reckon club manager Antonio Conte is determined to land the full-back and bolster his squad at Stamford Bridge.
However, the same sources add that the Stamford Bridge side face competition from Manchester City, with Pep Guardiola also a big admirer of Sandro.
They say Juve are likely to snub any bids in the January transfer window, even if the Premier League big boys offer £60m.
It was reported earlier this month that Sando could pen a bumper new deal at Juventus after missing out on his summer move. The Old Lady have had a stunning start to their Serie A season, winning all six games while conceding just three goals.
Chelsea have also impressed, with Antonio Conte’s side hunting Manchester City and Manchester United in the Premier League title race.
